my crochet shawl is finished and I for one think it looks great.
The pattern is a freebie - link to it here on www.redheart.com, another great resource for free patterns.
I have crocheted it on size 7mm hook in Phildar Kadisha 130 75% acrylic/25% wool, 15 balls of which I found on sale at a car boot sale for a couple of euros a couple of years ago and it has been lurking in the project cupboard ever since.
I even had enough wool left over to add the fringing.
A very satisfying crochet project.

Beautiful work and lovely shawl.
hey i'm just starting this pattern and i'm so confused on the first row!! i'm stuck where it says "turn-2 shell" i really don't understand where to turn and where you're working in... help!! :)
wow!!! is very beautiful.i am from romania and i dont understant very good the indication only if i see the video.doo u have any video to thi shawl? i love it.
Sorry I don't have a video - this pattern was one I found as a free to download so that is all the info I have.
Hey anonymous.... to help with the instructions. Turn is the end of the row. The long dash separates the instructions from a list of what you should have completed that row: 2 Shells, 5 ch-3 spaces, and 2 ch-2 spaces.
I need help, and since you have done this pattern maybe you could help me. I am stuck on row 9, 10 and 11. Row 9 when it gets to here [Shell in ch-2 space of next Shell, ch 1] twice, Shell in next ch-2 space of next Shell, so should I have made three shells at that point. Is the first stitch ch-2 suppose to have 2 shells in it or just one?
is there anyway you could post or email me the actual pattern...love this but cant pull up the pattern on redheart.com please let me know my email address is crawforddani94@yahoo.com
Beautiful work! I want to make this someday too.
